RC4 has worked hard to maintain its high standards of child care throughout this unprecedented time. During our March through June closure, teachers stayed connected and engaged with students in a meaningful way through zoom meetings, recorded videos, and age appropriate resources . Since returning to school, teachers and staff have worked tirelessly to maintain our commitment to learning through play while also adhering to new safety guidance and protocols. These new guidelines have required us to think outside the box to find ways to instill a love of learning through hands on activities, peer play, and collaboration, all while promoting health and safety best practice. As a result, our operational costs have increased during this time while enrollment has remained low.
Financial support at this time will go towards purchasing PPE and other materials for staff and children. This includes our increased need for gloves, hand soap, paper towels, hand sanitizer, masks, sanitizing wipes, shoe covers, and thermometers, as well as individual bins and materials for sensory play and exploration. Financial contributions will also support our payroll needs as we are dedicated to providing low teacher:child ratios, even when we have staff out due to illness and mandatory quarantine.
We are truly thankful for your support!
